Speaking is Complicated...

or so we might believe...

How bizarre that we view this ability we were born with

one that began as a shameless exploration, with no thought to the how, or even the what

as such a complex process.

Our children speak with effortless conviction and feeling. And so did we, before the stories kicked in. Stories of rules,

how to show up in a certain way, listen correctly or adopt the optimum posture to show this and that to your audience. Topics to avoid, how you must not be too loud or too quiet or unprepared or over-prepared or or or or...

Yet speaking is so much more simple than that.

And my goodness, YOU are so much more than that!

When you speak on what you want to speak on, when the heart bursts open and sings, then you start to see things and understand things that little bit more.

You begin to understand more about yourself and who you truly are rather than who you were pretending to be.

We all fall for pretending to be somebody, this imagined person the mind portrays or the imagined person we want people to think we are. Both made up, neither a patch on who we truly are.

All experience is life and we are life itself. Speak what you want to see, speak what wants to be said, speak without limits, speak love into the world... simply show up...

AND SPEAK.

Too long our characters have hid or been silenced by thoughts and feelings of not-enoughness.
