Speakers in the News: 11.13 - 11.17
Leigh Bureau speakers are always working on incredible things. Every Friday, we bring you a weekly roundup of the most impactful writings, releases, and appearances from our speakers.
The Little Liar, the highly anticipated novel from bestselling author Mitch Albom , was released this week. Called "a captivating allegory about evil, lies, and forgiveness" in a starred review by Kirkus, The Little Liar tells the story of a young Jewish boy who is tricked by Nazis into guiding his community to the concentration camps and his journey to forgiveness over the next 40 years. Narrated by the voice of Truth itself, it is a timeless story about the harm we inflict with our deceits, and the power of love to ultimately redeem us.
We welcomed Morag Barrett to our roster! Morag is an award-winning leadership coach whose work focuses on the impact of workplace relationships on business success. Bestselling author David Grann was named Barnes & Noble's first ever Author of the Year! "A master of nonfiction, much of it based in first-person reportage and archival digging, Grann uses our history as a mirror to entertain us, make us think, and show us who we are now," writes the Barnes & Noble team.
