Speaker opportunities available at Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week!

The Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week in Copenhagen, Denmark from 26–29 September 2023 provides a unique platform for researchers, economists and engineers from the field to share their knowledge and discuss their experiences in the area of large-scale integration of variable renewables into power systems.

Represent your company as a speaker, share your knowledge and connect with the international renewable energy grid integration community!

Submit your abstract by 30 April 2023 in one of the following subject areas:

Wind

Large-scale integration of wind energy into power systems and transmission networks for offshore wind power plants have been an critical set of issues since the emergence of wind energy as a major contributor of electricity. This subject area covers all aspects relevant to large-scale integration of wind power into power systems: e.g. project experience with grid integration of wind power plants, grid forming and ancillary services experience will be presented along-side power system studies and distribution grid & transmission grid issues.

Solar

The importance of grid integration of solar power is constantly increasing world-wide. Considering the speed of renewable installations in many countries, power system operators have less and less time to thoroughly analyze and investigate grid integration issues – international exchange of experiences becomes crucial to efficiently adapt to the changing conditions. This subject area focuses on project experience with PV and battery grid integration, grid forming, forecasting and power system balancing issues, among others.

Electromobility

Electromobility is already an important topic of our time, but its importance will increase significantly in the future. In order to adapt the power grids to the resulting challenges, many factors must be taken into account. In this subject area, project experiences with EV grid integration, power system aspects with high shares of EVs, charging infrastructure as well as vehicle-to-grid, modelling or regulatory aspects will be presented.?

Hydrogen

Hydrogen is the link in the energy transition for CO2-neutral mobility, industry and the power sector. In this subject area, topics such as fuel cell, electrolyzer and hydrogen systems modelling, renewable hydrogen technologies and applications as well as decarbonization of transport with green hydrogen will be addressed. ?
