SPEAKER ANNOUNCEMENT: Emmy-winning filmmaker, Lisa Russell to speak at UN Summit of the Future Action Days

New York, September 16, 2024 – Lisa Russell, Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and award-winning AI artist, will be a featured speaker at the upcoming SDG Digital Conference, part of the UN Summit of the Future Action Days, scheduled for September 20-21, 2024 in New York City. As a highlight of her presentation, Lisa will introduce her innovative Arts Envoy Lab, a digital futures solution that combines creative activism with AI technology to inspire and train climate and sustainability advocates to become AI artists for people and the planet.

Lisa's groundbreaking work as an emerging AI artist has been showcased at major global events, including the AI for Good Global Summit, and her artwork has been selected for various high-profile AI art exhibitions in New York City. Her creative vision merges art and technology to address the world’s most pressing challenges, from digital inclusion to climate justice and environmental sustainability.

At SDG Digital, Lisa will present the Arts Envoy Lab, which equips climate advocates with the tools to harness the power of AI to create impactful, data-driven art and storytelling for social good. The Lab focuses on developing the next generation of AI artists committed to promoting justice, sustainability, and global solutions.
