You will learn to:
- effectively structure and organise speeches
- use vocal variety and body language to wow your audience
- get your point across
- speak with more confidence when asked a question out of the blue,
- give and receive feedback
You will get:
- a dedicated guide to support your journey throughout the course
- educational speeches from experienced members of Toastmasters International
- access to the internationally recognised Toastmasters International Speechcraft Program and
- the option of discounted membership to Sussex Online Speakers through to March 2022 for a further ￡45 (usually ￡73 for a new member).
- a Certificate of Completion for your portfolio

- Educational on how to structure and organise your speeches
- Preparation time with your guide for your first speech, 'The Icebreaker'
Wednesday 23rd June
- Impromptu Speaking Practice
- Deliver your Icebreaker Speech
- Educational on Word Choice
- Preparation time with your guide on your second speech, 'Powerful Words'
Monday 28th June
- Attend a club meeting of Sussex Online Speakers to see how your Toastmasters club runs
- Buddy with a Speech Evaluator to learn how to introduce a speaker and deliver timely, constructive feedback
Wednesday 30th June
- Impromptu Speaking Practice
- Practise introducing your fellow Speechcraft participants
- Deliver your 'Powerful Words' Speech
- Educational on Vocal Variety and Body Language
- Preparation time with your guide on your second speech
Wednesday 7th July
- Impromptu Speaking Practice
- Support your fellow Speechcrafters by delivering feedback to each other
- Deliver a Speech focused on Vocal Variety or Body Language
- Motivational Speech about the power of Toastmasters
- Celebrate your Speechcraft Success!
