Sparkly Jewelry...Go Big or Go Home

Good Morning!

The big day is almost here and by this time next week it will all be over and we will be looking forward to New Year’s Eve! So with that in mind I want to discuss last minute holiday dressing. If you already have purchased a little sparkly black, red or silver dress or jumpsuit for Christmas Day/New Year's Eve...FANTASTIC! YOU ARE READY FOR THE BIG DAYS AHEAD! But if you haven't and your budget won’t allow you to go out and splurge on a new outfit right now, you can still dress up festively for the holidays…all it requires is some sparkly jewelry. It is a game changer. Sparkly jewelry will elevate a silky blouse and a pair of black trousers or a simple black dress you already have in your closet into a festive special occasion outfit. Sparkly jewels can elevate almost any outfit into a holiday outfit.

And the perfect place to purchase sparkly jewelry on a budget is at Sam Moon...in store and on-line. (This is just my personal recommendation…I am not an affiliate here.) If you’ve never shopped Sam Moon you’re in for a treat. Sam Moon sells all types of accessories and has aisles and aisles of sparkly jewelry and specialty handbags at very affordable prices and in all of the colors of the rainbow. (If you have ever searched for red, pink or green rhinestones you'll have better luck searching for a unicorn.) Another affordable spot to purchase budget friendly jewelry is Bauble Bar...you can only find them on-line. These are my two favorite places for this type of jewelry...LOW INVESTMENT, BIG IMPACT!

I recommend a BIG pair of sparkly earrings…GO BIG OR GO HOME! And bracelets on BOTH wrists. And if your budget allows…put a ring on it. If you don’t wear big earrings then go for a necklace…whatever piece(s) you decide on, whether they are earrings, bracelets, rings or a necklace, they will transform any outfit into something special!!! Another option is a scarf or shawl with a lurex thread running through it. And don't forget a special occasion handbag...it's another opportunity to transform your outfit..a big clunky handbag just won't do!

Pro Tip:?for a very small "investment" you will have these items for future outfit-opportunities and they WILL AWAYS FIT even if you have lost or gained a few pounds since you last wore them.

Bonus Pro Tip:?fabrics such as satin, silk (or silky-like), velvet, brocade or taffeta are typically special occasion making, especially in rich jewel colors or black. But even some knits or 100% cotton fabrications could be deemed holiday outfits with the right amount of sparkle added to them. Shop your closet...you may be surprised at what you already own.
