Two minutes ago I blocked and banned a follower. That's it. She used my publications to insert ads in the comments. This is a no-no practice at all for sure. Trust is too valuable to tolerate this behavior. So, you were banned, blocked, and ignored. I accept all contacts and followers but if you are a spammer, reaction is fast as light!
Let's remember the basic Netiquette once again.
Some rules you must have in account:
1. Be respectful at all times ??
? Treat others as you’d like to be treated.
? Avoid offensive comments, insults, or aggressive language.
? Respect others’ opinions, even if you disagree.
2. Use an appropriate tone ??
? Adapt your tone to the context (formal for work emails, informal for chats with friends).
? Avoid excessive use of ALL CAPS as it can seem like shouting.
? Be clear and polite in your messages.
3. Avoid spamming ??
? Don’t send repetitive or irrelevant messages.
? Avoid sharing chain messages or unsolicited content.
4. Be clear and concise ??
? Express your ideas clearly and to the point.
? Use proper grammar and punctuation to prevent misunderstandings.
5. Respect privacy ??
? Don’t share personal information (yours or others’) without permission.
? Avoid tagging someone in photos or posts without their consent.
6. Don’t overuse emojis or abbreviations ??
? Use emojis and abbreviations appropriately so they don’t confuse your message.
? Remember, not everyone understands Internet slang or abbreviations.
7. Don’t engage in toxic behavior or trolling ??
? Ignore provocative comments instead of fueling them.
? If a conversation turns disrespectful, politely step away.

8. Credit others’ work ??
? If you share someone else’s content (images, texts, ideas), give proper credit.
? Avoid plagiarism or taking credit for work that isn’t yours.
9. Be patient ?
? Not everyone has the same technical skills or response speed.
? Be understanding of mistakes or misunderstandings.
10. Follow platform-specific rules ??
? Read and respect the guidelines of forums, groups, or social networks you’re part of.
? Adapt to the communication style of each platform (e.g., LinkedIn is more formal than Twitter).
11. Don’t spread false information ???
? Verify information before sharing it.
? Avoid contributing to misinformation.
12. Be inclusive ??
? Use language that doesn’t exclude or discriminate.
? Recognize and respect cultural, gender, and opinion diversity.
13. Show gratitude and respond ??
? If someone helps you or provides information, thank them.
? Respond to messages or questions promptly when appropriate.
14. Respect others’ time ?
? Before asking a question, check if the answer is already available.
? Send direct messages only when necessary and relevant.
15. Be a good role model ?
? Promote positive interactions and respect community values.
? Help new users understand the norms and encourage a welcoming environment.
By following these practices, you contribute to a more positive, constructive, and enjoyable online space! ??
