Spain wants to become a major hydrogen hub
The most recent UH2 Paper takes a look into the hydrogen market?in Spain. The Iberian country wants to become a green hydrogen hub with more than €18 billion being invested to produce and distribute hydrogen generated from renewable energy.
UH2 project in As Pontes, Galicia is one of a total of 123 hydrogen project currently in development or active, according to the AeH2. The hydrogen and ammonia facility will produce more than 17,000 tons of green hydrogen per year and more than 98,000 tons of green ammonia.

According to the AeH2 there are?123 hydrogen projects currently in development or active. It is estimated that it will involve a total investment?of around 21 B€.
The UH2 project in Spain will produce +17k tons of green hydrogen per year and +98k tons of green ammonia. It will also include two solar plants, around 100 MW each, for renewable power capacity.
