About the Program

The Space Rapid Capabilities Office’s (Space RCO) Prime Fusion Pilot Accelerator is a unique program designed to advance cutting-edge space technologies that support the mission of the Space RCO. This accelerator seeks U.S.-based innovative startups and small businesses that can develop solutions to enhance space situational awareness, defensive capabilities, and operational readiness for space missions.

Program Highlights

Prime Integrator Interest Form

The Space RCO’s Prime Fusion Accelerator focuses on building partnerships between U.S.-based small businesses with innovative space technology solutions, and established prime contractors within the Space RCO ecosystem. Through a combination of workshops, coaching, and direct matchmaking, the accelerator helps participants refine their technology offerings and business strategies to meet the needs of the Space RCO and the broader U.S. Space Force.

Participating companies will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with Space RCO prime contractors, access tailored support, and compete for prizes during a final pitch event. The program aims to bridge the gap between small businesses and the critical needs of the U.S. Space Force, enabling rapid deployment of novel technologies.

A Deeper Dive

The Space RCO’s Prime Fusion Accelerator is designed to empower U.S.-based small businesses to bring game-changing space technologies to market. Participants will engage in virtual workshops that provide an in-depth understanding of Space Force operations and the acquisition processes required for successful collaboration with prime contractors.

Throughout the program, companies will receive one-on-one coaching and advisement to address specific challenges, refine business strategies, and tailor their solutions to meet Space RCO’s requirements. The capstone Pitch Event provides a unique platform to showcase innovations directly to Space RCO leadership and potential partners, with opportunities to establish strategic connections that can accelerate growth.

Beyond the accelerator, FedTech will continue to support alumni with access to resources, networking opportunities, and connections to additional FedTech programs. Our goal is to ensure that each participant has the tools and relationships needed to scale their technologies and achieve long-term success in the space domain.
