No space to maneuver
It's extremely frustrating to get stuck behind a big vehicle in traffic. They take too much time to move ahead and occupy most of the road, leaving with less space to wiggle out.
They don't move fast nor do they allow others to move ahead.
This also applies to people, organisations and cultures.
We've all been to meetings and encountered cultures where things were already set and there was no scope to improve anything - you either had to move along at the same pace or just grind your teeth and try to fit in.
When no one is willing to budge, or be willing to listen to another point of view, or concede that the may be wrong, nothing will move.
