NASA-funded planetary geologist and CEO of?PlaneX

Dr. Kirby Runyon loves experiential space exploration and works as a NASA-funded planetary geologist, space tour guide, and inspirational speaker. He coaches flyers in weightlessness with the Zero-G Gravity Corporation and takes commercial Future Astronauts through educational geology hikes, explaining the science behind the view they'll have from space. In 2022 he started his company Planex – Planetary Experience Consulting LLC.

Melissa Roth

Co-Owner and Lead Researcher at?Off Planet Research?

Melissa Roth is a Co-Owner and Lead Researcher at Off Planet Research providing mission assurance for space-based technology through the use of simulants, hardware development and testing, and consulting. They have received several NASA SBIR grants to develop dust-tolerant technologies.?With her background in mechanical engineering, Melissa works with clients to ensure they get the best simulant for their testing to help them learn to survive and thrive in some of the harshest environments in our solar system.

Britt is CEO of Celestial Citizen , a space urban planning company focused on building sustainable space communities by bringing together people, systems, and technology. She hosts the Celestial Citizen Podcast and built a space media platform with over 100k followers. Britt holds degrees from 美国南加州大学 , Colorado School of Mines , MIT, and Wellesley College .

Sam Ximenes

Space Architect, Founder and CEO of XArc Exploration Architecture Corporation and Astroport Space Technologies, Inc.; Board Chair of WEX Foundation

Sam Ximenes is a Space Architect with over 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry with NASA, DoD, and international space programs. He is currently CEO of Exploration Architecture Corporation (XArc), a space architecture consulting firm he founded in 2007. The firm specializes in commercial spaceport development and design, and space systems development for space exploration initiatives for planetary surface systems for habitation and human settlement.

He is also the Founder and Board Chair of WEX Foundation , a non-profit organization for advancing careers in space exploration through Space-STEM education. His latest venture is the CEO of Astroport Space Technologies , Inc., founded in 2020 as a wholly owned subsidiary of XArc to develop lunar construction technologies for the emplacement of critical elements of lunar surface infrastructure. In 2023, he was inducted into the San Antonio Aviation and Aerospace Hall of Fame.
