What will the event cover: New breeding techniques (NTBs) may provide important tools to enhance the sustainability and resiliency of our food supply in an ever-changing world. In light of the European Commission’s recently adopted proposal on regulating plants obtained by genome editing, a range of speakers in this webinar will explore food law details, global regulatory insights, and consumer perspectives and perceptions on plant biotechnology. This is a follow-up webinar to the November 2022 'Innovation in Agriculture: Research & Farm Perspectives on Genome Editing.' This event aims to foster dialogue and stimulate discussion within Belgium as the Belgian presidency of the European Council begins early next year.?
