Sovini Trade Supplies Partners with their Supplier to Support Community Group
Our Team, and Paula Rosa Manhattan, a renowned supplier of bespoke kitchens, have joined forces to support More Than Words Advocacy CIC, a social day care provider in Wigan.
More Than Words is a not-for-profit community interest company that works with people of all ages and abilities. They utilise drama, music, dance, singing, and creative activities to help individuals develop their confidence, express themselves, become more independent, and achieve their aspirations.
Their specialty lies in working with individuals who have a range of social care needs, communication and learning difficulties, and other health conditions such as Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, and mental health.
The close collaboration with our supplier focuses on equipping More Than Words new facility with a fully accessible kitchen. This vital addition will empower students with learning disabilities, complex medical conditions, and neurodiversity to develop essential life skills, foster independence, and build confidence through cooking and social interaction.
Our Operations Director, Alan Evans said: “We are incredibly proud to partner with our suppliers, Paula Rosa Manhattan, who are renowned for their high-quality and expertly crafted kitchens. This project aligns with our commitment to supporting the communities we serve. Providing essential resources like this accessible kitchen which will have a profound and positive impact on the lives of these young people.”
