Southwest Offers $49 Fall and Winter Flights

Southwest Airlines is slashing fares, with one-way tickets starting at $46 through early 2025 in its Wanna Get Away sale, which ends August 15 at 11:59 pm PT. Jet setters can book US flights between August 27 and February 12, 2025, or head to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or international spots by February 10, 2025.

No promo code is needed to get the low fares, but a 21-day advance purchase is required and you can also use points to redeem flights. Watch out for blackout dates as well: November 26-27 for US flights, and various dates from late August through early January for Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and international trips. Intra-island Hawaii flights have specific blackout dates too, and Orange County travel is excluded from the sale.

These sale fares are on Southwest’s website and now also on Kayak. Southwest recently added its fares to Google Flights and Chase Travel, offering travelers more ways to book.
