Why Universe/Unidata companies should get off of Telnet in their own words:

  1. AccuTerm IO Web Application... and I am the new one for this web application...
  2. [Are there any] demo programs I can use to see AccutermIO in action, i.e. running in the browser?
  3. I am trying to change the background color of an ITEM, it has [FOREGROUND] and BACKGROUND options in its PROPERTIES when looked at in ACCUTERM.
  4. We need a script to launch the GUI application and when closing it also close[es] [the] ACCUTERM session so the user gets back to [the] desktop screen.
  5. Is there any calendar picker component that could be used? The GUI designer does not provide a component like this...
  6. [I] want to make my application look good with modern UI.
  7. Hi,? am now using Accuterm well but am stumped by the the resulting functionality of the? Combo Box.
  8. I have created a list box [that] should show the [customer representative] code but no it [is] blank.
  9. When we can expect Accuterm and GUI services in 64 bits?
  10. AccuTerm does a lot of work bouncing back and forth between the GUI and the controlling basic program. That's where a lot of the time is spent.
  11. How can I call two applications at the same time and work simultaneously using Accuterm 8?
  12. ...I want the DATA within the grid to wrap or be 'stacked'. Like an address with name on the first line, street on the second, and city, st, [and] zip on the third line - all within one grid row and column cell.
  13. Can anyone help me visualize a web page using Accuterm?
  14. Is there a way to set the focus to a particular grid cell in code?
  15. [W]e were having with Accuterm FTDs after a recent Windows 11 update.
  16. I would like to present the user with a window sized to the number of scheduled items for the vehicle which may range up to 20.

This is a small sample of what some newbies and experienced programmers were trying to do with Telnet and its GUI interface to Windows. This was a great idea when there was no internet 20-plus years ago.

While I was in the South Pacific, I was figuring out how to lay out our new inbound and outbound Warehouse Scheduler so the clients could use it with minimal training and have our second-to-none interface. My JavaScript interface is Webix using their Scheduler code with a partial addition of my code to show what I need for this application.

Of course, I could do this anywhere in the world because of U2logic's first-class tool set. I will post the finished application forms and flow as soon as the software is QA'd and released. Oh, by the way, this application was written in about a week. Can your tools let you do that?
