The more visibility the better. 2. If you know people in your network looking for work, introduce them via a LinkedIn message to people in your network who might be hiring. (make sure you get permission from both parties first) 3. If a recruiter reaches out to you about a position and you’re not a fit, try sending them a linkedin profile of someone who's out of work. It's the little things that can make all the difference. You never know when you'll be in the job market.

If you are going to reach out to a recruiter. Here's the best time to do it and why. After you have looked at the role and the following are a match: >Location & Relocation potential. >Comp range >Listed work mode (Hybrid, Onsite or Remote) >Relevant work experience. You apply to the role. Then, you reach out with an effective and concise message. Doing this will increase your chances of getting a response. Not all recruiters will respond back. Here's some reasons why. >Out on PTO >Is no longer employed there. >You applied 3-4 weeks after it was initially posted, which could mean they are probably in 2nd rd. or final rd. interviews, or they have an offer out already to a candidate. >Their bandwidth could be maxed out and they just don't have time to respond back here via LinkedIn Dms. (Full transparency) - I try to respond back to as many people as possible here. I'm only one person. I hope this helps give full perspective when doing outreach to recruiters. Let's all give each other some grace (On the candidate side and the recruitment side) as we don't always know what everyone is going through internally. Happy Friday eve!

I stumbled through conversations, faced rejection, and felt like I wasn't making any progress. Yet, this is where the growth occurred.
