South Carolina Cotton Crops are Still Around!?

We’ve got about 260,000 acres of cotton in South Carolina. You read that correctly! Not only do we have the Carolina Mountains, Beaches, and Farms, but we also have Cotton Crops. Something you usually don’t hear too often about if you are not in that industry.?

Even though technology has the younger generations glued to social media platforms, clothing made out of polyurethane, such as spandex, cotton is still a quality material. I hope to see more of it used as It is a natural resource. Our next choice of influencers could generate some clothing attire for our children to understand the background of the cotton material, compared to polyurethane. The quality of clothing materials has dramatically declined, yet the cost of clothing has significantly increased.

As a Mother of three daughters, I prefer seeing my daughters, our younger generation, ladies, and women dress conservatively in cotton fabric, compared to showing their figure for free by wearing (Spandex) polyurethane. However, I enjoy driving through South Carolina and seeing all that the state has to offer, and my blog of the month is to mention these cotton fields. There is also a positive history of cotton fields, and please support our local crops using cotton materials.
