Soup-er Stars on Fundraising Quest for Homeless Healthcare

On today's menu - HOT Roast Tomato and Fennel SOUP with Talbot Grove Olive Oil courtesy of The Trustee and a Brioche Roll PLUS love and compassion in bucket-loads.

Brookfield Place - Perth City. 11.30am - 2pm (or until we run out of Soup !)

Calling all my Property Industry friends join me and get down to Brookfield Place today and help us break all previous fundraising targets.

100% of all funds raised today go to the charity Homeless Healthcare - an amazing West Leederville based medical service dedicated to providing healthcare to Perth's homeless and marginally housed.

Last year Homeless Healthcare provided more than 16,000 medical consultations in Perth.

That's an increase of over 23% from 2014-15, when Homeless Healthcare provided 12,922 medical consultations at 11 clinic locations across the metropolitan area.

Their message - Homelessness isn't inevitable. Improved health and well being is essential if there is to be a real chance of a person breaking the cycle of homelessness.

The number of homeless people in WA continues to increase. On any given night now up to 13,000 people with about 42% aged under 25. Over 70% of these people leaving leave the family home to escape violence, abuse or family breakdown.

If you can't make it down today - you can always make a donation at Homeless Healthcare?
