Soulmates can be more than just lovers, they can be friends, pets and siblings.

Contrary to the traditional viewpoint of “soulmates”, many who believe in soulmates or “twin flames” clearly say that soul unions can come in many vibrant forms. A soulmate is believed to be a person with whom you share many likes, dislikes and beliefs in what seems like a match made in heaven. The traditional view is that male and female come together in an electrically charged connection, then start to explore if they are soulmates.
On the opposite end of those who believe that two souls had a contract to meet again, after many life lessons were learned, believe that relationships tainted with the forever connection, can come to a very hard and painful end. They also claim that people stay in relationships with the “soulmate flavor” way too long, enduring abuse and heartache.
Whatever your belief may be, you have to admit that there seems to be some validity in the notion that there are people, pets and experiences which seem to be way off of the view of normal. In a male and female relationship this is exhibited in deep passion and a longing to be with one another. Combined with the pain of being apart, this deep longing creates an almost hypnotic soul bond.
But what if this bond is shared among friends, siblings, even parent and child? There have been stories of mothers who have several children claiming that their love or attachment for one child seems different from the attachment to the other children. People have expressed a connection with their pets that felt like a connection to another human. Also, brothers and sisters have claimed to experience a deeper connection to each other, even if they are not blood related.
Belief in Soulmates (Myths and Realities)
There are many myths surrounding the concept of soulmates. There are also hundreds if not thousands of facts based on interviews and studies that two people can share so many similarities that their DNA even looks the same. In the area of emotions, it may be a myth that two souls feel the same sadness, joy and fear at the same time, but it could be true that soulmates are also closely connected empaths and their quantum bond cannot be measured in scientific terms.
The reality also is that one person can totally enjoy the company of another, and the other person will activate all of the warm and fuzzy feelings while another person, seemingly similar, will activate feelings of disgust.
People are meant to create divine connections with one another, and this can happen in many connections with two or more people. Since our innate ability to connect deeply with other humans, is based on how we feel about the people we are around, it’s a loving and amazing idea to explore how different relationships feel at any given time.
