Soul'd Out. (poem)

Soul'd Out. (poem)

The test was about what you valued the most. You chose the world over the Heavenly Host. You chose possessions here on earth. Do you have a clue what your soul is worth? In fear you took the easy way out. Sold your soul to the devil en route. You know this road leads straight to hell. There's no buy back after the fire sale. You knew the truth and refused to Do Right. Hiding in darkness and avoiding the Light. You know God's path is not easy to follow. At least God promises life after tomorrow. What do you do when darkness falls? Do you hope God still hears your calls? The trumpets could sound any second or any day. Will you have time to kneel down and pray?
