At Infosys the things we do daily make us grow not just as a professional talent but more so as a well-round individual with the right sense of purpose. Once in a while it is important for us to examine our Souls and reflect on our actions. At Trivandrum Development Center (DC), Diversity and Inclusion team is named as SOUL , Shades Of yoUr Life. The vision of this committee is simple yet strong, to create an inclusive work environment and leverage the true power of diversity for sustainable and healthy competitive advantage.

Diversity is all about acknowledging and accepting differences and Infosys strives to be a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion (D&I) efforts by cultivating a sense of belonging for its employees. We try to encourage, groom and foster a sense of belonging and accountability through the power of unity in diversity. This is a platform where employees from different backgrounds have the opportunity to participate, contribute, develop and grow freely and equitably.

This year too the team took up hosting multiple events and sessions on the lines of diversity, inclusion and belonging. From ensuring we understand and acknowledge the efforts of our hardworking employees who are also parents by celebrating Mother’s day & Father’s day as well as extending the notion and good vibes to the larger Family by cherishing the moments through International Women and Men’s day. This team also ensures there are constant focus via sessions and guest speakers on the socially prevalent themes that focuses primarily on innovative ways in which we can advance gender equality and the empowerment of women, particularly in the areas of social protection, public services’ access and sustainable infrastructure. The D&I team always makes it a point to delight and bring in a series of events to entertain, enlighten and energize the entire Development Center. This is one of those teams that do not shy away from the hardships of life yet strive to spread awareness and hope. They inspire the budding talents for overall excellence and the right health and emotional quotients.
