[Soul Sunday] UNCAPPED BLESSINGS

"Now to him who is able?to do immeasurably more than all we ask?or imagine, according to his power?that is at work within us," Ephesians 3:20
"Bring the whole tithe?into the storehouse,?that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the?Lord?Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates?of heaven and pour out?so much blessing?that there will not be room enough to store it." Malachi 3:10
As we continue to celebrate Women's International History Month, it is important to remember the countless women who have paved the way for us to live the lives we live today. From suffragettes to civil rights activists, women throughout history have fought for equality and justice, often in the face of great adversity. As we honor their legacies, we must also recognize that there is still much work to be done. Allow me to pause and recall the names of those women who have impacted me that now have a seat in heaven's balcony.

I speak your names!
In a world that may seek to diminish the contributions and worth of women, it can be easy to forget that we are valued and loved by God. But as we meditate on His promises, we can trust that He sees us, knows us, and desires to bless us beyond measure.
As a black woman living in the United States today, I am acutely aware of the challenges and struggles that we face. The systems of oppression that have been ingrained in our society for centuries can make it difficult to see beyond our current circumstances. It is easy to fall into the trap of believing that our dreams and aspirations are limited by our race or gender. However, as believers in Christ, we have access to a power that is greater than any earthly obstacle or limitation. The promises of God in Ephesians 3:20 and Malachi 3:10 remind us that our Lord is able to grant us great and mighty things, no matter what our circumstances may be.
In a world that often seeks to diminish the value and worth of Black women, it can be tempting to believe the lie that we are not deserving of God's blessings. But the truth is that our Lord sees us, loves us, and desires to bless us beyond measure. As we come before Him with open hearts and minds, we can trust that He will grant us the desires of our hearts and provide for us in ways that we never thought possible.
Let us be intentional in our faith and in our actions. Let us remember the women who have come before us and honor their legacies by continuing the work of fighting for equality and justice. And let us trust that our Lord will provide for us and grant us the desires of our hearts, so that we may continue to be a blessing to those around us
Prayer:
Our Gracious and Heavenly Father, we come before you today with grateful hearts, thanking you for your promises of abundance and blessing.?As we speak, the names of those who provided us with freedom, wisdom, strength and magic. Lord, we ask that you give us?strength beyond our expectations and faith?to overcome every obstacle. Lord help us to trust in your goodness and your ability to give us exceedingly abundantly, above all that we can ask or think. I pray that you will provide overflowing blessings in such a way that there will not be room enough to receive them. I give you all the glory and honor, for you are the one who provides and blesses us beyond measure. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.

Imagine what it would be like to receive blessings that overflow in such a way that there is not enough room to contain them. Visualize yourself living a life that is full of abundance and joy, knowing that all of it comes from the hand of God. As you meditate, ask yourself the following questions:

As we close this time of devotion, let us be reminded of the great and mighty things that our Lord promises to grant us. Ask yourself what you can do in a room where women and women of color are not represented. How can you be a voice or an ally? What actions can you take to ensure the world is truly a better place, not just for some of us but for all of us??
