Hey Morning Mindset Family,
I pray you’re taking time today to pause and connect with what truly matters.
This morning, I found myself in a space of reflection, holding onto something we talked about yesterday during our The Morning Mindset pop-up session: being built for bigger.
Here’s the thing—we can’t step into the bigger things if we’re still holding onto things that are weighing us down.
I’m learning this weekend as I dive deeper into The Emotionally Healthy Woman by Geri Scazzero. This book has been my companion in uncovering the areas of my life where I need to let go.
Because here’s the truth: you can’t reach higher while holding onto the very things that are pulling you down.
This morning, with my journal open and my favorite coffee in hand, I sat in stillness, letting the truth sink in. Y’all, sometimes the most important thing we can do is stop.
Stop running, stop striving, stop carrying things we were never meant to carry.
Emotional health doesn’t come from pretending everything’s fine or pushing through the pain—it comes from facing the hard truths and making room to do the deeper work in us.
In yesterday’s pop-up session, we challenged ourselves to step into the greatness that’s waiting for us.
But here’s the truth no one tells you—you can’t step into greatness without emotional health.
It’s the foundation.
It’s the part that prepares you to not only step into the next level but to thrive when you get there.
So today, I’m reflecting on what it means to be emotionally healthy.
It means learning how to quit—yes, I said it. Quit!

Quit the things that keep you stuck.
Quit the unhealthy patterns, quit the mindsets, and quit the fear that tells you you’re not enough.
Because when you quit what’s holding you back, you make room for everything else great to pour into your life.
As I sit here, listening to one of my favorite playlists, I’m allowing myself to come into awareness of those places in me that need healing, restoration, and rest.
Family, if you don’t take care of your emotional health, you’ll end up building a life on a shaky foundation.
You’re built for bigger, but bigger starts with the inner work.
So let me ask you: What do you need to quit today? What’s that one thing that’s been keeping you from emotional freedom? Take it to God. Journal it out. Meditate on it. And join me on the path to wholeness.
Because when you’re whole, nothing can stop you from walking in the fullness of what you're be called to.
Take some time this weekend to rest, reflect, and release what’s not serving you. Your bigger future is on the other side of your emotional healing.
Love and blessings,
Kisha

1 个月Thanks for sharing this. Sometimes, quitting doesn't mean you're a loser. Most of the time, it's the only way for you to see different paths and perspectives of yourself and ability. And maybe, because you deserve better than the path you keep trying to pursue. I hope those who are struggling can reach this beautiful message.?
