What do asparagus, brussel sprouts, papaya, veal and Bob Dylan have in common? All things I have always wanted to like but struggled with. Over the years I've warmed up to asparagus, and the sprouts, but still stick my noise up at the last three. With Dylan, there is no question is he talented but music talks to the heart not the brain and we haven't made the wholesale connection, but I am hopeful. His lyrics have always been awesome and The Band was music that was fast love for me so I thought the pairing was great. Also from the iconic Scorsese, "The Last Waltz"....Just felt like the right one, today.

Spend some quality time with Blood on the Tracks. To me, this is one of the more brilliant complete albums.
