A Question About Risk:
Bob Iaccino is a chief market strategist and co-founder of Path Trading Partners. He joins us live every Friday from 11am EST, as our risk management educator.
Why is technical analysis so important in trading?
Technical analysis is the hack, it’s the cheat. Do you know what technical analysis and price action really is? It’s everything that’s going on in everyone’s psyche behind the charts, pushed forward by the charts.
If you like to read charts, using: RSI, moving averages, candlesticks or Fibonacci – they all try to show you the same thing, the collective mob action behind the price, pushed forward by the price.
It’s a beautiful thing when you can find your niche to the point that you can say: “It is a higher probability that this happens, than that”. Then you can really start to get your gut and fundamentals to work within what the charts are telling you.
Monday Mindset
Physical, mental and spiritual activities to recalibrate the mind back into its trading groove.
During hot and cold trading streaks, sometimes traders need to plant their feet firmly back on to the ground, for a serious reality check.
But did you know there are psychological benefits to doing just that?
Grounding is a practice that involves connecting with the Earth's natural energy by physically touching the ground.
A study reported pleasant and positive moods statistically significantly improved among grounded-but not sham-grounded-participants.
