OK, technically, not a song. Also, sharing Bach is a bit of that scene in High Fidelity where John Cusack is shredded for his Top 5 Side 1, Track 1s list.
"Oh, that's not obvious enough Rob. How about the Beatles? Or f***ing... f***ing Beethoven? Side one, Track one of the Fifth Symphony... How can someone with no interest in music own a record store?"
Maybe because I've been staring at hundreds of design permutations this morning and my brain is feeling a little fractal.
Or maybe because nothing helps focus me like Bach. Anyway, here you go:

Fun facts:
- In music, an invention is a short composition (usually for a keyboard instrument) with two-part counterpoint.
- Compositions in the same style as an invention but using three-part counterpoint are known as sinfonias. (Sometimes these are now called three-part inventions to avoid confusing them with symphonies).
Brahms said "Study Bach. There you will find everything."
Charles Gounod said: "He has said all there is to say. If all the music written since Bach's time should be lost, it could be reconstructed on the foundation which Bach laid."
A great pianist friend of mine assures me this is all still true today.
