Adapted from the two letters that Paul wrote to Timothy who assisted Paul in his missionary work.

God the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords (1 Timothy 6:15), wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5), who gave Himself as a ransom for all men (1 Timothy 2:6). Our Saviour, Christ Jesus, has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel (2 Timothy 1:10). Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15), and fight the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12). If we die with Him, we will also live with Him (2 Timothy 2:11). Hold onto faith and a good conscience (1 Timothy 1:19). God did not give us a Spirit of timidity, but a Spirit of power, of love and of self discipline (2 Timothy 1:7). The Lord knows those who are His and everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness (2 Timothy 2:19).
