God has given many great gifts to us including life, love, health, happiness etc. But the greatest gift that God has given to us is His one and only Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Jesus, we are redeemed and saved from the wrath of God, and our future hope is to be with Him in heaven for eternity when our time comes to leave this fallen world.
When I see the stars coming out at night as the day is done in the fading light, I see some are faint and some are bright and I think of the three wise men that night. I look for the brightest star in the sky and I try to think what those men had in mind, as they followed that brightest star on high to see the Lord who was born nearby. Jesus Christ is born, here to save the world, the only Son of God to take away our sins. Jesus Christ is born, with everlasting life and we just need to take Him into our hearts.
Thought for today: know Jesus - know everlasting life. No Jesus - no everlasting life.
Thought for the future: plan for your eternal future today, trust and follow Jesus. Where will you spend your eternity?????
