We read in 1 Corinthians that there is only one true God, and one true Lord, our Lord Jesus Christ.
No eye has seen, nor ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9), but God has revealed it to us by His Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:10), for who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him? (1 Corinthians 2:16). Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God?? (1 Corinthians 6:9). But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God (1 Corinthians 6:11). Each one should retain the place in life that the Lord has assigned him and to which God has called him (1 Corinthians 7:17). You were bought at a price; so do not become slaves of men (1 Corinthians 7:23). For this world in its present form is passing away (1 Corinthians 7:31). Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live (1 Corinthians 8:6). Therefore, my friends, flee from idolatry (1 Corinthians 10:14). You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the table of the Lord and the table of demons (1 Corinthians 10:21).
?Thought for today: there is only one true God in heaven, the others are man-made on earth and they are useless for they cannot save us.
