A prayer to Almighty God, to help us guide our children to faith and understanding of our loving God in this fallen world. When very young, our children know very little, and we need to teach them as they grow, until they are old enough to understand for themselves, about Almighty God. We pray that you will help us to protect them from evil sinful ways, and for them to come to love God, and His only Son Jesus, our Saviour, and to understand what He has done for us. For we are saved by the grace and mercy of Almighty God, and not by anything we have done, or can do by ourselves. Through the resurrection of Jesus, our future inheritance is eternal life in heaven through our faith and belief in Jesus Christ our Saviour. The promise of eternal life is our gift from God, just like our little ones are a gift from God. What more could you want?
Thought for today: no-one is more secure than those in God’s hands. Thought for the future: you have all you need in life, when you have Jesus in your life. Where will you spend your eternity?
