A prayer to our Almighty God to keep us safe in our world today that is full of sin. We know that God is in control, and we have put our trust in Him, and His only Son, Lord Jesus Christ for our eternal future. The Holy Bible tells us “Those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good” (1 Peter 4:19). So even in times of trouble, sorrow or despair, keep your faith in Jesus. For no matter what happens to us here on earth, our Christian inheritance of eternal life in heaven with God is the greatest hope we could ever have. This is our promise from God, our Creator, what more could you want?
Thought for today: no matter what happens to us in this fallen world, eternal life in heaven is our final goal.
Thought for the future: Jesus said “I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). Where will you spend your eternity?
