A prayer to our merciful heavenly Father, thanking Him for His everlasting love, and for sending His only Son, Jesus Christ into the world to die on the cross for us. Many of us forget about God in our busy daily lives, while others believe they already have the life they want, and don’t need God. Still others are comfortable being part-time Christians. They may go to Church for a wedding, or a Christening, or a funeral service, but feel they don’t need God any other time. But the Holy Bible tells us that we are not good enough on our own to enter heaven. And that it is only by the grace and mercy of God that we can be saved, through His only Son Jesus Christ dying for our sins on the cross. Through the resurrection of Jesus, and by following His ways, we can look forward to sharing eternal life with Him when we depart this fallen world that we presently live in. To get into heaven tomorrow, you need God in your heart today.

Thought for today: there is only one way to heaven, but that’s all we need. Thought for the future: Jesus knows the way, so follow Him for eternity. Will you receive your Christian inheritance?
