Sometimes people ask me “What makes you believe that God created the heavens and the earth?” And with respect, I ask them “What makes you believe He didn’t?” Most people don’t even give it a thought, but if Jesus came today, would you be ready to meet the Son of our Creator? Jesus is the only Son of God, and He is the only Saviour with an empty grave. Jesus was sent to us by God to die on the cross, and to take away the sins of those who believe in Him, and follow in His ways. God created the heavens and the earth, and He created us. He also created eternal life which we can share with Him in the future, when our time comes, through putting our faith and trust in His Son, Jesus Christ today. When you consider that tomorrow may be too late, it’s well worth thinking about your eternal future today.

Thought for today: there is only one way to heaven, but that’s all we need.
