Sometimes you have to go through it to get to it.

Let’s me start with this.?I do not feel like you have to tear people down to build them back the way you want them to be.?Given the choice, I will always choose to build people up rather than to beat people down.?And note, there is always a choice.?I believe people want to be proud of the work they do, so I will try to find a way to do that.?Create a safe place for people to learn and grow and not force them into some sort of submission.?That being said…

Don’t ever underestimate the power and importance of the journey you take to get somewhere.?Be it a cycle of learning, a journey of discovery or a simple get lost to find your way home and find something new kind of a day.?Explore, never stop, and never forget the importance of the journey as much as the destination.?I have taken a long and strange career arc.?I took a long way round to find myself, and everything I went through has shaped who I am.?Everything I learned along the way prepared me for where I am now.?I told myself I would no longer try to change who I was for a job, and I would never let a job change me in a way I did not want to be changed.?I want to change and grow for the better, but I must be who I am.?

I know the difference between ego and personality.?My way may not work for everyone, just like someone else’s way may not work for me.?I am willing to compromise, and I am willing to learn and grow, but I do not feel like I have to change who I am to fit what someone else wants me to be.?Not in an ego way, in a personality way.?Wayne Dyer wrote “Letting the ego-illusion become your identity can prevent you from knowing your true self.”?I have learned there is more than enough room in the world and in the universe for all of us.?I do not need to step all over you to get where I want to go.?Don’t let me stand in your way, but do not believe for a second I am going to allow you to change me so you can reach your goals, I will change myself to reach my goals.?I hope we can walk the path together, but if you choose to go South and I choose to go North, then I wish you the best.

The things I have been through have got me ready for where I am now.?I will never be the person who tears people down again.?Truth be told, I used to be that guy.?I used to be the guy who had to find the answer so I could be right.?I used to be the guy who was the most negative.?I used to be angry, I used to be fueled by anger, and a need to be right.?Now I only allow my anger to fuel me in the gym to go the extra mile.?I do all I can to never use my anger against a person… even if that is what they are aiming for, to make me angry.?There is room for me to go through it so I can get to where I need to be, but I choose not to do that to someone else.

I get it, I get the need to feel like you are in control.?I get the idea that Fear and Intimidation is a way to get what you want out of life.?It is a Dog-Eat-Dog World, it is a Rat Race; or at least that is what some want you to believe.?Just because it has worked for some does not mean it is the only way, and I choose that it will not be my way.?I think there is a better way; to build people up.?Activate your Stardust, let your spirit lead you.?Sow good seeds, reap the harvest.?There is abundance in the garden, room enough for us all.?I do not need to hoard anything, when I can give freely of the fruits of knowledge of what I have learned.?Each step of the path is a lesson, so do not ignore the journey.

You see the journey will not change other people, the journey will change you, if you let it.?Breath in the journey, embrace it, but you decide what you need to change to get better.?When you are ready you find all the help you need.?It is already inside you.?Re-Read the Stardust post or read it for the first time.?We are Stardust.?Each step in the journey is needed.?No one can do it for you.?You can’t do it for me and I can’t do it for you.?Sometimes you have to go through it to get to it.
