Sometimes You Gotta Go All In!

Sometimes You Gotta Go All In!

Do What You Want

At least that’s what Lady Gaga says to do, and you cannot argue with her. The song was a bit risque and had a very different meaning, but we all know she meant to do whatever you want to do in life. I think it’s just a way to say stop being scared to go all in on yourself. Especially when it comes to side hustles, freelancing, entrepreneurship, or promotion.?

I was reminded of that this past week. Last Sunday I got this crazy weird amount of energy and coded an entirely new app for my Recovery and Wealth/Sobery Money Mindset business. I decided that it was time to release at least a beta version of it and get market testing started. I also signed a channel partnership with a UI/UX branding agency called Inverse HQ. When I get in that type of mode and begin working toward a goal it’s no-holds-barred. No joke. I only slept like 3.5 hours Sunday night into Monday. I spent 7-8 hours straight coding (with the help of AI). Needless to say, everything is launched and ready to go and just needs minor tweaks. Don’t worry you old fools I will of course include a link way below for feedback.

Let’s explore things further. I took a lot of this language and pain points from Mel Robbins. She wrote a great book called The 5-Second Rule that I read. When I first started looking into starting something myself this book helped me break down items into simple terms and not overwhelm me. I am not going to reinvent the wheel here. I will cite her actual words she’s way better at articulating this stuff than I am. Hence the 2 million copies sold!????

? Massive Action Yields Massive Results:?Don't just dip your toes in—dive headfirst into your goals. Commit fully to your vision and watch as doors of opportunity swing wide open

? Leverage Your Unique Value Proposition:?Understand what sets you apart and double down on it. Your distinct perspective is your greatest asset in a crowded marketplace

? Embrace Discomfort as a Growth Catalyst:?The magic happens outside your comfort zone. Push your boundaries daily and watch your personal and professional life transform?

The tough ones for most people are the discomfort and inferiority complex. They think that no one will want to hear what they have to say or their opinions which brings that discomfort. The fact is that no matter your walk in life someone out there will always find value in your unique perspective. We all have a past and we’ve all learned lessons along the way. Why not share that knowledge with the world? If you’re a spirited type A with insecurities, then go for it. Guaranteed your energy alone will carry you through.?

Discomfort is how plans fail. People run into one or two roadblocks and they give up. Tale as old as time. It doesn’t have to be that way. If you truly want to change your lot in life or create something cool then get comfortable being uncomfortable. That old sales adage has carried me through to multiple different territories. I used to get through it with liquid courage juice but now that’s not the case. I’ve had to rebuild my confidence and bravado. This takes time and failure. That’s where that small-step concept comes into play. Small steps make big impacts. I equate that principle to the investment world. You don’t have to do a lot to make a good return. Take a look at an investment calculator and run an analysis on only the market returns of your portfolio for the next 10 years. If you stay invested and add gradually it turns into massive dividends. Same thing in a career or business. Small investments in yourself pay off big in the end.??????

As Mel always talks about: Count down from 5 and get up and get going! The more you do that every day the better results you will gain. 5,4,3,2,1…….go make a milly!?
