Sometimes an unknown devil is better than a known devil

My journey of finding that dream job has been quite interesting. I can’t thank enough those people who’ve guided me and supported me through this phase. Those known and unknown devils who had nothing to gain and still went all out and helped me. I did come across a few situations though where I felt that I would not work with this company or person, now that I know about them. They came across as unkind, directionless, unresponsive or plain vague.
It made me think! I used to be a proponent of ‘A known devil is better than an unknown angel’ but I realize that my views have somewhat changed over the years. I don’t shy away from meeting new people anymore. I don’t reserve myself to my comfort zone anymore. I ask for adventure, welcome challenges and seek out new experiences. That is how I learn and grow. How long will you keep walking the path you’ve always walked?
If I deserve better and if I can’t change anything, I will walk out on the known devil and dare to try an unknown one. Will you?

8 年Nice thought here Leena. You turned the phrase on its head and it yields more this way!
