Aespire’s webinar platform integrates with our email marketing platform. We didn’t realize that when that integration is active, it automatically syncs the webinar with a specific list from the email marketing platform, registers the people on the list for the webinar, and sends an email to confirm registration — before the invitation to attend gets sent.
It works brilliantly, but it wasn’t my intent.
Mistakes happen, right? I didn’t panic and quickly apologized to the lists to explain what happened.
Nurturing trust is always more critical than transactions for the modern marketer. We need to keep our communications personal and personable.

That's important, considering that 57% of consumers say that human communication would increase their brand loyalty, and 58% say human communication would increase their likelihood of spending money with a given brand.
Sometimes technology wins. Most of the time, relationships win.
The lesson for all of us is to realize that at a time when AI, automation, and complex technology overwhelm us, making a human connection matters most.
