I literally meet hundreds of people a week and so often I see that they are not clear with who they are, what they want or where they stand, even within themselves. I think it's important to do a little inward networking and meet "you" for a catch up now and then.  

I find that making a promise checklist to your self from time to time will help you to get clarity about who you are. Then you can go back often and check in with yourself on things that you promise to yourself and your personal brand. It then also allows you to be really solid and clear before you continue to make your networking connections out there!

There are many things that can shake us to our core and cause us to be knocked off center. Making this list every 6-12 months for me let's me review not only if I can still solid with myself but if anything is shifting within my core beliefs or about my promises to myself.

Then when you network, you are solid as a rock around who you are and can enter any conversation powerfully and confident in your outward conversations!

MY PROMISE TO MYSELF:

I will continue to live life out loud.
I will continue to talk to strangers.
I will continue to live a creative life.
I will continue to live an eclectic life.
I will continue to be overly passionate.
I will continue to open my network to others.
I will continue to hop planes, trains and automobiles on whims.
I will continue to wear my heart on my sleeve remaining vunerable.
I will continue to do whatever I can to provide or add value to others.
I will continue to empty and share my wine cellar one bottle at a time.
I will continue to respect what others believe, but never let it effect what I believe.
I will continue to support great ideas, equality and differences, but never injustice.
I will continue to use my big fat mouth often, saying exactly what I think at all times.

I NEEDED TO DO THIS TODAY FOR MY SANITY! GIVE IT A SHOT.
