Sometimes the Most Memorable Candidates are Those You are Not Able to Place.

Sometimes the most memorable candidates are those you are not able to place.

In my search for a Senior Human Resources professional, I found myself reaching out to passive candidates with the experience needed to fill the eye of a very particular hiring manager.

A Candidate who was looking for a change

I connected with a candidate who fits the bill, she was not actively looking but expressed frustrations with her current position – not only compensation but a daily commute that was taking hours out of her day.

Her employer understood whom they were losing

Long story short, she impressed the hiring team and was able to secure an offer soon after her last interview. When it was time to present her resignation, her current employer realized what they were losing.

They acted and quickly approved a salary and schedule she had been requesting for years, and after careful consideration, she decided to stay. We spoke after, and she expressed immense gratitude, the process helped her realize what she truly brought to the table – I was glad her employer did as well.
