Sometimes All is Not What it Seems.

"Sometimes all is not what it seems......." "What might that be you ask?" I entered the nonprofit world, with my eyes wide shut. My naivety led me to believe that because it was a nonprofit industry, that others too involved in nonprofits had come from the same place as me, with a heart to help others. I soon was to learn that was not always the case. It astonished me to think that there are people out there only waiting on you to trip up or tear you down to make themselves feel better. further themselves or to raise profiles at what ever the cost. It saddens me to know this because there is so much good can be achieved and so much power when we as nonprofits work together in order to help others. It shouldn't be about the "fame game" it shouldn't be about furthering your own self gain. If it means anything to you it should be about action and education to be able to best help those who need it.

I was and still am learning so much daily on just how bad people can be or how they will try stir you in the wrong direction, taking you off course to making your mission come into fruition. Which is why in my morning posts I encourage you guys to stay true to yourselves and keep fighting the good fight. It seems to be the more good you do the more scrutiny you are under and that is all good, as long as you are doing good and are transparent, then you are doing the right thing. I firmly believe the more we focus on our mission the more we drown out the noise of negativity. Keep pushing forward with ever it is you want to achieve in life or helping others.

Irish Angel for me is my passion and my life. Something that I could never have grown without an amazing Irish Angel family and you guys. Irish Angel means just as much to our team as it does it to me. The work we do behind the scenes to help others is amazing. We can't always talk about it because of HIPPA laws and the sensitivity surrounding the work we do. Which I think it where people are quick to question us. We are always there for people that reach out to us in any way that is possible for us to help. We have built amazing relationships between partners and organizations that have the same goal and mission in sight, to help "Protect Our Protectors." Irish Angel is more than a business for me. It helps heal me too internally. There is nothing better for your soul than to help another person.

Over the coming two weeks you will realize just how much Irish Angel means to me, Amanda Coleman and why I take it personally, when people try undo the good work we do with, envy or hate. The series will air on "The Suffering Podcast" with my dear friend and Irish Angel family Kevin P. Donaldson and Mike Failance It will run over a two week period from next week. It was a very personal and difficult one for me, because I told my truth, and how my "suffering" has brought me to help others. It is raw and real and very personal, but taking control of your life and speaking your truth helps turn the negative "suffering" into a positive one, by taking control of your "suffering." The word suffering no longer means what we think does. Kevin P. Donaldson has a great analogy on it.

There is one thing about us Irish, we will never be beaten or stray from our path. I guess the moral of this post is, in all walks of life and in every profession, there will always be doubters and nay sayers. As long as you are focused and have "purpose" in your heart then you just keep pushing forward. Your mission in life is your purpose and if you have not found it yet, then you should. Although NO ONE in Irish Angel take a wage, you can't buy the fulfillment it gives when you have helped someone, and given them a shot at living a life. I am extremely grateful to all my Irish Angel family and the good people that has helped us along the way. Always live in the here and now, keep looking forward and never in the rear view mirror. Life is all about passion, loyalty, gratitude and love. If you have them in your life then you are one of the richest people alive. You can achieve so much and help so many when you Chanel them into your purpose, but remember, work hard and be humble always!
