This post is less about business and more about sport and the business in rules of engagement in real-time after this weekends diabolical ruling in the LPGA first major of the season. It seems now Big Brother watching can get involved and not only get involved but rule and decide fate.
I will keep it short, Lexi Thompson should have won her second major yesterday but was denied this because of a small mishap that 'a viewer' had saw on TV and emailed in.
This was on hr 17th hole on DAY 3. They did not notice in real-time, the TV viewer did.
They decided to inform her of the decision on DAY 4 into her final round. Hole 12 and with a 2 shot lead and moving clear.
Firstly, why did it take so long to make her aware?
Secondly why is a viewer allowed the right to be involved in such decisions.?
The Rules of Golf need re-addressed quickly, as this is not the first time.
You can watch the 'MAJOR' mishap here, along with the distraught Lexi.

7 年Ouch. That really sucks. Think I fell asleep after the 10th hole last night, and must have missed all the drama!
