SOMETHING YOU NEED TO KNOW (VOL. 2):

Yesterday represented an important day in American & World History: The passing of the leadership from one to another. Before I go further, I need to state that I am not politically affiliated with any parties or groups, nor is this meant to be taken as any type of political statement. There are some things you need to know:

In order to serve Heavenly Father: Regardless of bitterness or anger, background or ideology, we must learn to love one another as brother and sister. We must be willing to put some parts of our ideologies aside and come to a solution! As a person with autism myself, it has been hard for me in the past to set aside differences. Through time, I’ve come to the conclusion that in the end, we are all brothers and sisters in His world. We must learn to accept people for who they are, and what they stand for. Don’t get me wrong, it is absolutely OK to voice our opinions for what is right and against what is wrong. That is what true leadership is about. However, we must learn to adapt to different ways of doing so without hurting others. We must learn the skills of arbitration and negotiation in a peaceful manner.

While others are marching/protesting the results of the election, it pales in comparison to some of the humanitarian issues that have been happening for years, decades, even centuries. For example: We have people of all ideologies, religions, backgrounds who are being diagnosed with autism or some sort of disadvantage/disorder. Another example: Look at all the innocent people in Aleppo and the thousands of children in Civil War in Yemen who have been injured and killed. We have people in this country who are starving, struggling to pay the bills to make themselves a meaningful life. There are kids and adults in Africa who live and sleep in huts. The list just goes on and on. We have many issues in our world, some that are not even reported by mainstream media that we must focus our attention towards… These people in whatever scenarios: Being on the autism spectrum, having some sort of special needs, struggling financially, in the middle of a humanitarian crisis, etc ALL WANT ACCEPTANCE. WE, as a society, must do everything we can to love, help, accept, and bring these affected people closer to God, and everything he stands for.

Whether people like it or not, Donald Trump was inaugurated into the presidency yesterday. DONALD TRUMP IS THE PRESIDENT! Donald Trump may have quite a bit of influence to come over the next four years… What most don’t realize: he is not a driving force behind our god-given abilities or intelligences to make ourselves a meaningful life and he cannot influence others through our craft for us. One man cannot statistically control the norms and actions of an entire society. At the end of day (as in the past with all presidencies), it is up to us to unite as a population to serve God, Jesus Christ up above. We must focus our attention towards and those who are in crises around the world. We cannot depend on Mr. Trump or any past/present/current leadership to lead for us, we must lead ourselves in this society. We must do our very best to love, help, and accept every person in this society… We are all children in God’s world he created for us.

Everyone, It’s up to us! Anything is possible when you set goals and your mind to it…. You can do this by donating money to a non-profit organization, volunteering your time for a great cause, or even just through prayer for everyone you know. After all, Trump’s moniker was “Make America Great Again”, right? Well, HOW ABOUT WE COME TOGETHER AS A SOCIETY AND MAKE THE WORLD GREAT AGAIN!?

Again, as a person with autism myself, it has been hard for me in the past to set aside differences. We must come together as one society… The division must end. If we all came together and donated our time to worthy causes, our world would be in such a better shape for the future. I hope one day this can happen. Thank you, please be sure to share your opinions down below!
