Something to Tweet About

Something to Tweet About

To celebrate Twitter's 10th birthday, I'd like to hack the community to remind ourselves why we fell in love with Twitter in the first place. Twitter was born 10 years ago, give or take a few days.

You may or may not agree, but millions of professionals, activists, journalists, influencers, youth and marketers have found real connections on Twitter that make up some of our most profound relationships and fondest memories with social media.

In the future I want to voice command my smartwatch to do an old fashioned tweet, not because people will be listening, but because I grew up tweeting and it's part of my narrative as a human being.

We don't give Twitter enough credit as professionals, for what she has done for us as people and helped us engage in not just cyber white-noise, but meaningful connections. In just 10 years, you transformed the world and made us believe. While the #hashtag, born August 23rd, 2007 and changed the destiny of search and targeting, Twitter gave us memories of connecting with mentors and friends that changed the lives of millions. #BringItOn
