Something new for writers
I hear that many readers who once embraced the new eBook technology are now returning to pages they can actually hold in their hands. It seems big business is responding. A short time ago, I learned that if you have eBooks listed on amazon.com, you can now sell them also in print-on-demand paperback editions that you create free, including a fresh cover design, on amazon’s website https://kdp.amazon.com/. The royalty rate is higher, and you don’t have boxes of unsold books taking up your personal space.
Given this opportunity, over the past two weeks I have been able to publish paperback editions of Mother Poems: Love’s Long Journey (in time for Mother’s Day), Nine to Ninety: Stories across the generations, and the guide Writing Reader-Friendly Poems Plus Writing Exercises, as well as an expanded edition (with glossary) of Looking Through Stone: Poems about the Earth (on geology, minerals, metals, and mining history).
