Something to Learn From Everyone

Something to Learn From Everyone

GM.

Happy Wednesday, mid-week, whatever you want to call it.

So, this is the second week that I have met Tuesday morning with a group of older individuals to discuss AI.

Now, there are certainly things that I could talk about when it comes to AI and its many uses that would make the group’s collective heads spin, but Tuesday mornings are for me to listen to the various insights of the group.

The contingency that attends these events are the cigar-puffing, Cadillac-driving, deal-closing OGs.

Say what you want about them doing things the “old way,” but there are some long-standing bits of life and business knowledge that will always stand the test of time.

These are the pre-LinkedIn legends that know a guy that knows a guy.

It’s cool to be around these larger-than-life personalities, and I’m grateful that they’ve welcomed me with open arms.

Anyway,

Being around this group, I’ll drop bits-and-pieces of what I know, but not too much to where it seems like I’m trying to outclass them (never outshine the master).

Point being, if you go into every interaction with the assumption that they know something that you don’t, or better said, that there’s something that you can learn from them, you’ll be much better off for it.

Chances are, you can, even from the people that grew up, and built their reputations in, the pre-internet era.

This is a short newsletter because it can be. Sometimes, being thoughtful and considerate of others around you is just enough.

Plus, having a mentor is fun.

Not just someone that you bought a course/mentorship from, those are fun too, but someone that has really failed and succeeded in the real world is worth their weight in gold.

A Friend of Mine

If you’ve been here for a second, you’d know that I have quite the affinity for shouting out my buddies that are doing good and making a way in the world.

Today, my buddy Sean Rhodes takes the stage.

Sean is one of the freakiest-of-freak athletes that I’ve ever met, Man of God, and business owner.

If you’re into all-things Jesus, Hyrox, and endurance sports, he’s your guy.

Check his newsletter out here: https://seanrhodestraining.com???

Trust me, it’s worth it.

I appreciate y’all, as always.

TL;DR:

There’s something to learn from everyone. Live with this in mind.

All love, as always.
