Over the next few weeks we are going to be looking at the subject of creativity and how we as business owners and leaders can capitalise on our natural creativity to help us build more successful businesses. Today, we are going to start by exploring what creativity is and whether we are holding our potential back.
Many people don’t think of themselves as “creative,” and even more don’t think of themselves as “capable,” are you one of them?
When it comes to improving the state of your business (or any other aspect of your life), it’s important to spend some time reflecting on what’s been holding you back from improving things thus far.
Often, creativity is not what is lacking. It’s the responsibility to bring those creative ideas to fruition. If you’ve been reluctant to share your ideas with the world, it would be a useful exercise to dive deeper into WHY you’re not sharing your creativity with the world! Address the ways that you could be self-sabotaging your own potential.
Start by asking yourself these questions:

None of these behaviours positively contribute to innovation and change. In fact, they do the opposite. If you’re serious about changing up the way that you live your life and contribute to your business, it’s important that you become self-aware of any self-sabotaging behaviours you engage in and hold yourself accountable!
