Something from My New Book!

Something from My New Book!

"I died. That's quite a good start, isn't it? But not so good, of course, if I hadn't come back. Often, when people ask me about my near-death experience, I prefer not to talk about it. It's quite emotional, and as you know, men don't really do emotion to that degree. I don't like ending up blubbering in front of people—it's not a good look.

Enough of my conditioning. I can actually talk at length about what happened, why it happened, and everything else. Truthfully, unless you've had the experience, it's difficult to comprehend and understand what it's all about. I have come back, so it's best not to dwell on it. Just to say, it was the touch of a human hand that brought me back from that place.

The best way I can describe that place is like the biggest spiritual hug you could ever have—warm, comfortable, with an energy and presence that's indescribable. However, there's a downside. It's made it difficult to stay in this world. At times, I've thought of suicide because the world is in such a state, seeming to have a demonic presence reflected in how some people treat others. Sometimes, I wish I wasn't part of this world.

But there are many more reasons to be here. One of them is my wife, Shirley, who recently went through a stroke. That's a really good reason to be here. Also, when I had the near-death experience, I didn't really know what it was about, but I had a kind of feeling. Many people said I've come back for a reason, though I couldn't say what that reason was. Mostly, it's because of my love for Shirley. That's a pretty good reason, isn't it? I'm here to care for and protect her.

For a long time, I've been teaching tips and techniques to help people get through life—things like stress, anxiety, personal development, and much more. For me, it's about helping people, even when it doesn't profit me. Many people have said that what I've been doing has really helped them, and that's great feedback for me, encouraging me to continue.

I believe one of the most important subjects I've talked about is gratitude. I've shared about gratitude, food, exercise, and many other essential things people can do to improve their lives, feel better, and live longer. But you don't truly know about a thing until it happens to you. We've been threatened with eviction, facing the loss of everything—the vital roof over our heads and food. It's not until this happens that you truly become appreciative of what you have—gratitude for the place you live, the people you're with, your neighbors, and everything else.

Unfortunately, because of the way the world works at the moment, even though Shirley is 70 and I'm 63, we are looking at living in a tent. That could become our reality unless something magical happens, and it could have already happened by the time you're reading this. Shirley and I are on a journey of challenging experiences, experiences that will truly teach us things. Everything I've ever taught will be tested. Can I really do it? I believe that the obstacle truly is the way.

There was a guy back in ancient Rome or Greece, or wherever it was, named Seneca. He was a wealthy person who, one day, lost everything when his ship sank. From that point onward, he had nothing, but he managed to pull through and taught others to do the same. It seems like that's what I'm going to have to do—teach from my own experience, experience all, and overcome adversity.

I believe I'm only at the start of my journey now. Maybe that's why I was sent back—to have these experiences. Well, I'm certainly paying attention now. Today is July 24th, and all I can say is, wish me luck. While I share with you here in this book the things I've picked up so far, this book will grow as we go through our experiences. I hope it will be helpful for you in the challenges you're facing in your life. Let me know how you get on. Wish me luck as well.

Thank you for being there.

Gary, I'm sorry to hear of your struggles, AND they are part of your life story. I'm a life coach for 16 years and prior to that, I did CPA/finance work for 20 years. I recently joined a very loving Digital Growth Community where you can learn how to earn online working a smart, 2 hour work day. Very generous business model--not an MLM--which you can do from your phone. IN case you're living in a tent. Let me know if this resonates.
