Someone Somewhere is Doing It. Why not You?

Have a dream burning deep down in your soul, a yearning that you just can't let go of, yet you are not making moves to bring it to life? Have you convinced yourself that it is impossible, for you it is something that will never happen? Ask yourself why you feel that way. What I bet you will find is that there is no real validity to most, if any, of it. It is mostly excuses, You do not think yourself likely to prevail. Have you allowed your self-doubt to over take you, your self-confidence gage to slip to empty and your faith in what God can do through you to become nonexistent?

There is greatness within us all, but very few have the "audacity" to believe that about themselves. One of the saddest things I have ever heard, but motivating to me as well, is that the grave yards are the richest places in the world. Many die with their hopes and dreams still locked inside of them. They never find the courage to reach for the key that will help them unlock their goals and dreams. They never dared to soar. I do not know about you, but I refuse to be in those numbers. I am going all out, pouring as much of my greatness into the world as possible, and glorifying my Heavenly Father as I do so.

One of the greatest lessons I have learned is to seek out those who have similar aspirations as mine and surround myself with those individuals. I glean from them, soak up their wisdom and knowledge and say to myself, "If they can do it, so can I." I don't worry about duplicating. I do it my way, applying the things I have learned. Uniqueness and originanilty can be had, even if you are doing something that someone else has done. Allow vanity, comparison, or whatever it is that may hinder you to blow away in the wind.

As my oldest brother once told me before God called him to Glory, "There is nothing new under the sun." Someone out there is doing what you aspire to do also and they are only equipped to do it their way, just as you are equipped to do it yours. Stop doubting yourself and holding back on us and wondering if you can measure up. Measure up to what, actually? There is no one with whom to truly compare yourself. Your way is your way. Dare to put your spin of originality out there. Allow your blessings of uniqueness to circulate throughout the universe. Embrace your own purpose and awaken those dreams that are lying dormant inside.

You are going to take some missteps just like those who have already awaken their dreams, but there are so many valuable lessons to be found in those trip ups! They are a part of the process. To be successful we must learn to take the good with the bad, not allow our ego to get the best of us or to worry about what someone else might think.

Michael Jordan says that he missed more than 9000 shots in his career, was trusted to take the game winning shot 26 times and missed, still he is deemed one of, if not the greatest of all time. Thomas Edison made 2000 attempts, before he finally prevailed in developing the filament for the light bulb. There are so many more examples of those who went on to do great things, because they believed in themselves enough to do so.

STOP holding back! It is time for you to join the " I Got This," crowd. Those who know it will not always be easy, but believe that they already have within them everything they need to get it done. Come on now! Shake the cobwebs off those dreams and clear away the dust. No, it is not impossible. Others are already out there doing it their way, now it is time for you to do it yours!
