NEWS FLASH, I get this question A LOT!?
Before I answer, ask yourself these three questions…?
Cosmetologists stand on their feet all day long doing head after head and get paid for each person that sits in their chair. So many people think, "oh, they're making money," but nobody realizes that once they start getting older, hands start cramping up, feeling tired, they won't be able to do hair anymore. And once they stop doing hair, where will money come from? THEIR KNOWLEDGE!
If they specialize in dreadlocks, they can package their knowledge into a course showing people how to retighten, restyle, redo, etc.!
Know that once you offer a service, people will perceive you as the expert and will pay you for your expertise.
Let's say you're a corporate professional working for a bank. The basics of that job are keeping a record of people's financial information. You'll begin to develop bookkeeping, cash handling, and written communication skills from that task alone. So if a bank is willing to pay you six figures for those skills, why can't you transfer those same skills and start something of your own? You could literally start your tax practice if you wanted to because you have the basic skills.
And that's only a corporate job example. If you've been learning to cook since your childhood, guess what you can do? Take your cooking skills and start making platters in your kitchen!?
Any skills that you have can be monetized.
3. Is the topic that you want to monetize already being sold elsewhere?
We're in the digital age, so this question should be pretty straightforward.?
The truth is you're probably already looking at other people online doing what you want to do, and you just haven't started yet. Do you want to,

All I have to say is, START! People start doing these things daily, so why can't you?
Once you answer these questions, you have to get clear on these three things.
The TOPIC Of Your Expertise
Throughout your lifetime, you've gained experience and knowledge in certain areas. From that, you need to determine what you're an expert at.
WHO Your Expertise Is For
You can't sell a dreadlock course to someone looking for one about braiding. You have to niche down and position yourself as an expert in the area of your expertise.
The STRATEGY
Once you know your topic and ideal client, it's time to pick your strategy. Many people find this step overwhelming because there are so many different marketing strategies out there, but it's this simple:?
If you're not a talker, don't pick a strategy involving recording videos. Instead, choose one where you'd have to write blogs!
Do you see how easy that was? You simply have to pick a strategy that aligns with you!
