Someone once told me, "Im not that talented... I just hire the most talented people"....that person is no longer in business.

I have a subtle resolve in knowing that I am one of the absolute best in my field, it its my personal foundation and something I lean on frequently during the trials and tribulations of agency life. If you have ever worked with me you have seen this, its in my swagger and my absolute confidence that we will execute and make the magic happen.

When it comes to hiring however, as my former colleague mentioned to me many years ago.... I too want to find those with the most experience and qualifications, but their is a certain quality that you can't measure and which sometimes you can't always find on a resume or on a conference call.

When it comes to finding the right partners, colleagues, co-workers - whatever, it's never easy but I typically find myself saying I want to work with people I trust and respect and work on projects that inspire and motivate us collectively. It's a simple recipe but one that requires absolute perfect chemistry.

This alchemy of agency life is never easy, but if Im going to do it...I want it to be alongside those who have put in their 10,000 hours and are not only defined by the struggle but use it to push their personal and creative boundaries.

If you can read the above manifesto from ENTER'S new Creative Director, Nils Davey and not immediately trust this mans passion, integrity and devotion to his craft ....then maybe we just aren't the agency for you.

To be the best you not only have to work with the best but also challenge yourself to be even better, I will never rest on my accomplishments or credentials and neither should you!
